about Personal Branding

I loved working with Saige. Saige was very organized and detail oriented and really embraces her role as a brand photographer. I felt like she was really organized and this helped me feel super at ease and comfortable with Saige. My pictures turned out better than I could have expected. Saige did such a great job capturing my personality and really helped my vision for my brand come to life through her photography. I plan to use Saige again for future brand photo sessions!

What's the difference between personal branding and a corporate headshot?

A corporate headshot is generally a single, static head and shoulders photo that shows one dimension of a person in business. Personal branding is more inclusive of the multifaceted person — who they are and who they want to become — and can include a multitude of images ranging from perfectly poised to active lifestyle and can vary in tone from neutral to super expressive and incorporate different themes from work to play and beyond.

What is personal branding?

Your personal brand is basically an ice breaker at a party that makes it easier for you to jump right in and get to the heart of what you really want to communicate. It might surprise you to know that you already have a personal brand that is a combination of the ideas you share, what you say or don't say, your personal style and anything you are already putting out into the world. Thoughtful personal branding is the intentional representation of who you are, who you want to become and what people can expect from you as a public figure, business owner, entrepreneur, speaker, educator, coach, content creator or expert in your field.

Why do I need personal brand photos?

Being clear with the imagery you share helps set the stage for everything you want to do and be. It's a fast track to invite people into your world and learn more about what you have to offer. Photos can also be a very powerful transformative tool for you to see yourself in a new way and embrace an emerging role or vision. See it and be it.

I don't have an established brand identity, can you help me with this?

If you are just starting to think about personal branding I can help get you going in the right direction. If you've already worked with a brand designer, great! I can match the tone of what you already have. Either way, I have some fun questions and exercises to help design a photo session you will love and photos you will love to show.

Who needs personal branding?

Anyone who wants to be more intentional with what and how they want to express themselves.

How many looks can I do and what should I wear?

The more effort you put into selecting your wardrobe the happier you'll be with your photos. Don't worry if this isn't your strong suit! Every session includes a style consultation where I help you choose a wardrobe so you'll look incredible and ready to express the best version of you. You'll want to have three or more outfits put together and your final looks will depend on the overall goals of your shoot that we will design together.

What about hair and makeup?

Along with wardrobe, attention to hair and makeup can have a huge affect on the success of your photos. Beautifully styled hair is especially important because it is more difficult to change in editing. Please inquire if you would like to add hair and makeup service to your session.

Where will my photo shoot be? Can we do multiple locations?

I have a mobile studio with a selection of hand painted backdrops that I can set up in your home or office or wherever you want to be photographed. Other options might include an apartment rental or hotel room, parks, beaches, cafés or any other location that fits your aesthetic. One location may be plenty to get a variety of viewpoints but we can shoot in as few or as many locations as it takes to best tell your story.

How do I plan for my personal brand photo shoot?

You can start by envisioning how you want to show up for yourself and others, today and in the future. What will that look like six months from now, a year from now or in five years?

How do I book a consultation or photo shoot?

Just click the Let's Chat button and let me know a little bit about you and what kind of photo shoot you're interested in. After that, I'd love to set up a call to find out how I can create beautiful photos for your personal brand and answer any questions you have.
